SNAPS is a high-performance active hearing protection system that pairs a small electronic module (that is easily replaceable) with a custom fit earmold to provide maximum hearing protection while offering unrivaled awareness of your environment. SNAPS also allows you to easily switch between the environmental awareness mode and full protection mode.
Because SNAPS fits into a custom earmold that is formed to the precise contours of your ear, a secure and comfortable fit is ensured. The snug, secure fit–with no parts extending out of the ear–means there is nothing to get in your way. You’ll likely forget that you are wearing a hearing protection device.
SNAPS is built around a specialized digital processor with patented ClikFIT® programming. This allows you to self-program the unit, choosing from three different hearing presets to give you the best sense of openness. Once you find your favorite, a simple button push locks in that setting.
SNAPS utilizes an innovative, patented sliding switch to allow you to choose between full protection (earplug mode) and full environmental awareness, all while offering maximum protection from impulse noise.
SNAPS also offers BOOST MODE, a unique feature which gives you the ability–with a simple push of a button–to add 6 dB to external sounds. This provides approximately double the loudness of those sounds, allowing you to hear every breath, rustle, twig snap, and step.
The SNAPS electronic module is powered by a standard and easily replaceable 10A battery, which provides performance for 3-5 days of constant use. It also comes with a rugged carry case offering room for the SNAPS units as well as extra batteries, cleaning tool, and a desiccant to keep the SNAPS modules dry and performing at their best.
